Fayez Ishak is the Missions Director of Kasr El Dobara Evangelical Church in Cairo, Egypt, a church of over 8,000 members with a strong cell group system. It also has a network with many other churches in Egypt and throughout the Arab world. Accordingly, every year the Mission Department is involved in sending out approximately 120 outreach teams inside Egypt and 40 outside Egypt, in the Arab World, Africa and Europe.
Ishak graduated from the Faculty of Law while running his family’s business for a number of years. After graduation he started to be fully involved in the ministry. In 1990, Fayez began serving as a full-time at Kasr El Dobara. For 12 years, he led and pastored the Youth Ministry and Youth Meeting at Kasr El Dobara which was atteneded by 1200 members. Fayez has been an Elder as well as the Founder and Director of the Mission Department at Kasr El Dobara Church for the last 24 years. He currently supervises, encourages, and ministers to 45 missionaries and staff. He also speaks throughout Egypt and many other Arab countries on many topics relating to discipleship and leadership training. Fayez is responsible for the partnership and networking activities within the church in the Middle East, US, Canada and etc.
Fayez is also an acting board member in the board of directors for several local and international organizations.
Fayez has a great passion to see God glorified through missions in the Arab world and has a keen desire to encourage, strengthen, grow and plant national churches in the region.
God continues to bless the work being done through Kasr El Dobara Church as it has a vision for Egypt and the whole Arab world to have the opportunity to know and worship Jesus Christ.
Fayez is married to Eng. Dalia Awad since 1986, they live in Cairo and have two sons Ramez (age 28) and Hany (age 26).
